The Parks and Recreation Ontario Annual General Meeting, has been rescheduled for June 18, 2020 in compliance with PRO's By-Law No. 1. See below for more details. 
PLEASE NOTE: The PRO office is closed to visitors due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) until further notice. Staff are still working remotely from Monday to Thursday and will be able to assist members and stakeholders.

Announcing the launch of the HIGH FIVE PHCD-C Training
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, HIGH FIVE® is offering a Principles of Healthy Child Development-C (PHCD-C) online training. PHCD-C provides those working with children ages 4 to 12 with the tools to enhance program quality and ensure that every child has a positive experience.

This two-hour online training has been developed by HIGH FIVE as an interim option for organizations that are unable to offer in-person training due to COVID-19 restrictions. The training includes additional learner resources, including access to Healthy Minds for Healthy Children online training and other staff development activities. This content in this training is equivalent to PHCD 4-hour and will fufill certification requirements for the limited period while COVID-19 restrictions are in place.

PRO Annual General Meeting Postponed

Due to the ongoing restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to complete the presentation of our annual report and conduct our annual general meeting scheduled for June 18, 2020. 

Regulation 107/20 under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act has granted additional time to non-profit organizations like PRO that were to have held an AGM during the state of emergency. PRO must hold its AGM within 90 days of the termination of the state of emergency.
